There's no place like home, especially for a patient eager to be discharged from the hospital or someone who is homebound and eager to resume their normal life. More than just a place of comfort, home is a symbol of independent living – of hope – of belonging.
The Home Health Center of Thibodaux Regional has put together an interdisciplinary health care team to address the many needs of homebound acute and chronically ill patients. Whether by transferring the services provided in the hospital or treating an individual who has become homebound, we can give our patients the best, most personalized care available at home. This allows them to recover in their own familiar surroundings with the people they love. All services are provided under the direction of the patient's physician. The Home Health Center of Thibodaux Regional is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
What Services Does Home Health Provide?
Our home health team is able to provide many skilled services for homebound patients, including:

Some Common Home Health Diagnosis/Conditions:
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Wound Care
- IV Therapy
- Pneumonia
- CVA (Stroke)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Urinary Tract Infections
- Diabetes including diet instructions
- Rehabilitative care for post surgery orthopedic conditions (hip, knee, shoulder, wrist/hand), fractures, CVA’s (Stroke), generalized weakness, safety and balance issues
- Home safety and fall prevention
- Parkinson’s and other neurological-related conditions
- Other Cardiac Diagnosis such as hypertension, atrial fibrillation
- Terminal care
