Pratt advances in
international professional society
Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that
Mary Ellen Pratt, CHE, Assistant Administrator, Professional
Support Services, has advanced to Diplomate status in the American
College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), an international professional
society representing more than 30,000 healthcare executives.
At present, only approximately 7,000 health care executives
in the nation hold Diplomate status in ACHE. With comprehensive
programs in credentialing, education, career development, publications,
research and public policy, the American College of Healthcare
Executives works toward its goal of improving the health status
of society by advancing health care management excellence.
Diplomates must demonstrate their commitment to continuing
education, progression in professional experience and participation
in voluntary health care and community affairs. They also must
successfully complete comprehensive oral and written examinations
covering subjects related to health care management.
Pratt now will be privileged to use the letters CHE (Certified
Healthcare Executive) after her name in all professional communications,
indicating that she is board certified in health care management
and an ACHE Diplomate.
