BEST TECHNOLOGY
Radiation Treatment - We're bringing new hope to cancer patients by being first in the region to offer Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), one of the most advanced new technologies available anywhere in the world. IMRT allows higher radiation doses to target tumors while safeguarding nearby organs and tissue. An exact 3D image of a tumor is used to map the paths of millions of radiation beams that conform completely to the shape, size, and density of the tumor - with little or no damage to surrounding healthy tissue. That means better cure rates and fewer side effects.
- Chemotherapy Treatment -We provide the latest in chemotherapy treatment in a comfortable, soothing environment. Patients are encouraged to have family or friends visit during treatment.
- Clinical Trials - We provide our patients with access to the latest experimental cancer treatments through investigational clinical trials.
Thibodaux Regional's new state-of-the-art Positron Emission Tomography / Computed Tomography (PET/CT) Scanner allows doctors to more accurately detect cancer and pinpoint its exact location. And our advanced
- Digital Mammography with computer aided detection technology helps your doctor detect breast lesions more effectively than ever before.
