Chief of Medical Staff Named

Todd Cowen, MD, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist on staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, has been named Chief of Staff for 2005.  Dr. Cowen earned his doctor of medicine degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He performed his residency at University of Alabama Birmingham, Spain Rehabilitation Center, and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport.

Dr. Cowen is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management. Additionally, he is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports and Occupational Rehabilitation.

Dr. Cowen succeeds J. Vance Broussard, MD, out-going Chief of Staff.  Other members named to the Medical Executive Committee are Sheila Pitre, MD, Vice-Chief of Staff,

Mark Hebert, MD, Secretary-Treasurer, and Judith Blaise, MD, and Bart Denys, MD, members-at-large.
