Chief of Medical Staff named

J. Vance Broussard, MD, board-certified ear, nose and throat specialist on staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, has been named Chief of Staff for 2004. Dr. Broussard earned his doctor of medicine degree with honors from Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. He completed his internship at Denver Presbyterian Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and his residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans.

Dr. Broussard is a Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Additionally, he is a member of the Lafourche Parish Medical Society, the American Medical Association, the Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Broussard succeeds Robert Hansen, MD, out-going Chief of Staff. Other members named to the Medical Executive Committee are Todd Cowen, MD, Vice-Chief of Staff,
