Thibodaux Regional Medical Center Recognized For Having Superior Value

Thibodaux, Louisiana – December 1, 2009 – Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the 2009 Community Value Index Five-Star Award by Cleverley and Associates.  This distinction acknowledges hospitals that provide superior value through outstanding performance, community involvement and extraordinary benefit to the community and region they serve.

The Community Value Index is determined through an evaluation of the U.S. hospital industry, and assesses a hospital’s performance in several critical areas: quality of care provided, financial strength, investment in technology and facilities, cost structure and charge structure.  Each area contains specific metrics that compare and rank a hospital’s performance to an appropriate peer group.
