Director of Behavioral Health Appointed

Thibodaux Regional Medical Center has named Victor Blanchard, GSW, as Director of Behavioral Health. He earned a master’s degree in social work, and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Nicholls State University.

Previously Blanchard worked at Thibodaux Regional as a case manager. In his new position at Thibodaux Regional, Blanchard will manage Outpatient Counseling and the GENERATIONS Program which is designed to meet the mental health needs of older adults.

Thibodaux Regional is a modern, 149-bed acute care facility. As a regional referral center, the hospital offers a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care for the people of Lafourche and seven surrounding parishes. Highly specialized services offered include Cardiology, Heart Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pulmonology, Obstetrics, Behavioral Health, and Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Services.
