Drop Biscuits

These are quick to prepare and taste so good, it's hard to believe they are low in fat.

Use as an accompaniment to breakfast or dinner. Also, you can serve these as a dessert shortcakewith sliced fruit and light whipped topping.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups Unbleached Flour
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1 Tbl. Sugar
1 Tbl. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Salt (optional)
1 cup Skim Milk
2 Tbl. Canola Oil

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Mix dry ingredients. Gradually stir in milk and oil, mixing with a fork until the mixture leaves the sides of the bowl. Drop by spoonfuls onto the baking sheet, making 8 biscuits.

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Yield: 8 buscuits (8 servings)
