Father Carlos Talevara Named Director of Pastoral Care Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Father Carlos Talevara has been appointed by the Houma-Thibodaux Catholic Diocese as a full-time hospital chaplain. Father Talevara will serve as Coordinator of Pastoral Care. Father Talevara will be responsible for providing pastoral care services to all patients, families and staff in cooperation with other area clergy. He will conduct regular visitation to patient care areas, Monday through Friday, 7 to 10 am and 3 to 6 pm, offering spiritual and emotional support and assisting with crisis intervention and conflict resolution issues if needed. Father Talevara also will provide the sacrament of the sick, final blessings or family spiritual support upon patient/family requests. return to list of archived press releases
