Hoffmann Joins Women's Center Staff Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Liz Hoffmann, RN, IBCLC, board certified lactation consultant, to its Women's Center staff. Hoffmann received an associate degree in Nursing from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. She also is certified in low-risk neonatal nursing and is a member of the Louisiana Lactation Consultants Association, the International Lactation Consultants Association and the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties. As the regional leader in women's health care services, Thibodaux Regional was the first hospital in the area to offer comprehensive breastfeeding services, including our specialized Lactation Center. The Lactation Center is designed to provide not only reliable information and education, but the all-important support that new mothers need and deserve when breastfeeding infants. Thibodaux Regional is a modern, 149-bed acute care facility. As a regional referral center, the hospital offers a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care for the people of Lafourche and seven surrounding parishes.
