Thibodaux Regional recognized for marketing and public relations excellence Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that it was awarded eight Pelican awards for excellence in marketing and public relations. The Pelicans are the highest awards presented by the Louisiana Society for Hospital Public Relations and Marketing for superior work in the field of public relations and marketing. Additionally, Nicki Boudreaux, Community Relations Coordinator at Thibodaux Regional, was honored for writing excellence with the Jacqueline Leonhard Award for her story "Johnny Jones: A Champion at Heart," written for Thibodaux Regional's Prime Times publication. Thibodaux Regional received the awards at the annual meeting of the Society held in New Orleans. The event was hosted in conjunction with the 75th annual Louisiana Hospital Association Meeting and Trade Show. Each year, the Society sponsors the Awards to recognize and encourage improvement in the quality, effectiveness and impact of hospital public relations and marketing statewide. return to list of press releases
