Mistretta named Emergency Department Clinical Director

Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Layne Mistretta, RN, BSN, has been named Clinical Director of the Emergency Department. He earned his Associate and Bachelor degrees in Nursing from Nicholls State University. Mistretta began working at Thibodaux Regional in1989.

Previous positions Mistretta has held include orderly, Emergency Room Tech, Emergency Room Nurse, and Emergency Room Unit Coordinator.

Thibodaux Regional is a modern, 149-bed acute care facility. As a regional referral center, the hospital offers a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care for the people of Lafourche and seven surrounding parishes. Highly specialized services offered include Cardiology, Heart Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Rheumatology, Behavioral Health, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pulmonology, Obstetrics, and Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Services.
