Owens joins medical staff Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Owens, MD, emergency medicine physician, to the medical staff. Dr. Owens earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a Family Practice residency at Walter Moss Regional Hospital, Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dr. Owens is certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice and is Advanced Trauma Life Support certified by the American College of Surgeons. Additionally, he has performed more than 20,000 hours in Emergency Medicine. Thibodaux Regional is a modern, 149-bed acute care facility. As a regional referral center, the hospital offers a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care for the people of Lafourche and seven surrounding parishes.
