Patrick R. Ellender, MD, Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, Joins Active Medical Staff

Thibodaux, LA - July 21, 2009 - Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Patrick R. Ellender, MD, Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, to the active medical staff. Dr. Ellender has formed a new practice in association with Drs. David W. Elias and Jason A. Higgins. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He performed his Orthopaedic surgical residency at Louisiana State University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in New Orleans. Additionally, Dr. Ellender completed an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Boston. He specializes in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy as well as General Orthopaedics.
