Center at Thibodaux Regional receives CARF accreditation
The Rehabilitation Center of Thibodaux Regional has earned
international re-accreditation for its inpatient rehabilitation
program for a third consecutive three-year-period from the Commission
on Accreditation of Re habilitation Facilities (CARF).
In interviewing current and former patients CARF found that
"in each case the individuals stated that their care was
outstanding, all members of the staff exhibited a caring attitude,
and they would recommend that their family members and friends
come here (Thibodaux Regional) if they ever needed rehabilitation
services."
According to the same survey, "The staff members that
were interviewed were enthusiastic and committed to providing
quality care to the persons served."
This outcome, which represents the highest level of accreditation,
is awarded to organizations that show substantial fulfillment
of the standards established by CARF and indicates that the program
is likely to be maintained at this level or improved in the foreseeable
future.
"The Rehabilitation Center of Thibodaux Regional has
put itself thorugh a rigid peer review process and has demonstrated
that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable
and accountable," Donald E. Galvin, Ph.D., president and
CEO of CARF, said.
CARF is an international accreditation body committed to promoting
quality of services through a consultative accreditation process
that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served.
