Suazo receives Physician Recognition Award Herminio Suazo, MD, board certified nephrologist (kidney and hypertension specialist) on active staff at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, recently received the Physician's Recognition Award from the American Medical Association (AMA). The award identifies him with a distinguished group of physicians who have accepted participation in continuing medical education as a basic responsibility of the medical profession and have met that responsibility.
