Thibodaux Regional Receives Diabetes Educator Grant Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that it recently was awarded a travel grant by The Diagnostics Division of Bayer Corporation for one of its diabetes educators to attend the American Association of Diabetes Educators Annual Meeting in San Diego, California. The grant was awarded to Thibodaux Regional on behalf of Rebecca Roussell, LDN, RD, Certified Diabetes Educator with the Diabetes Self-Management Program of Thibodaux Regional. Roussell was nominated by Jack Dodson, Bayer Sales Representative of the Southeast Region, and was one of 16 educators in the United States that was selected to attend. The Bayer Corporation sponsors this program to provide an opportunity for more educators to attend the American Association of Diabetes Educators Annual Meeting.
