Vander Joins Medical Staff

Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Allen Vander, MD, to the medical staff. Dr. Vander has joined the Kidney Center of South Louisiana for the practice of Nephrology.

Dr. Vander earned his doctor of medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He received his Internal Medicine training at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge, and subsequently completed a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Florida. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Vander is a member of the American College of Physicians and an associate member of the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation.

Thibodaux Regional is a modern, 149-bed acute care facility. As a regional referral center, the hospital offers a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care for the people of Lafourche and seven surrounding parishes. Highly specialized services offered include Cardiology, Heart Surgery, Oncology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Women’s Services, Hemodialysis, Behavioral Health and Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Services.
