Thibodaux, LA, October 13, 2011 – Thibodaux Regional Health System
is pleased to announce the addition of Aluizio Stopa, MD, Pediatric Cardiologist,
to the medical staff. Dr. Stopa will see patients, age birth to 18 years,
in his office located in the Medical Office Building at 604 North Acadia

Dr. Stopa received his medical degree from Faculty of Medicine of the Federal
University of Juiz de Fora in Brazil. He is board certified in Pediatrics
with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Cardiology. Additionally,
Dr. Stopa currently serves as Director of Outpatient Pediatric Cardiology
at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, and is Associate Professor
in Pediatrics at LSU School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine
in New Orleans.

area through collaborative efforts with Louisiana State University Health
Sciences Center in New Orleans.
