Who's At Greatest Risk for COVID-19

Older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical complications may be at higher risk for more serious complications from COVID-19. These people who may be at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19 include:

  • • Older adults age 65 and over
  • • People with serious underlying medical conditions like
    • Heart disease
    • Diabetes
    • Lung disease

Older adults and people of any age with serious underlying medical conditions should seek care as soon as symptoms start.
