CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES
Call Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) for all cases in Louisiana to the Intake Coordinator via a 24-hour Hotline at 1-855-452-5437.

When reporting child abuse/neglect, the Intake Coordinator will want to know:

  1. Where the child lives - parish and address
  2. Who the caretaker is
  3. Who has custody
  4. Exact cause of suspicion
  5. Location of marks
  6. Statements of child and caregiver
