Gynecologic Cancer Diagnosis & Treatment
At Thibodaux Regional, our Women's Center collaborates with our Cancer
Institute to provide comprehensive, robust care to our patients. This
continuum of treatment and services ensures that our patients receive
the vigilant, multi-disciplinary insight into their health and the guidance
and resources they need to thrive. These services include everything from
education and prevention to treatment and pain management.
Our gynecologic cancer diagnosis and treatment services include:
- Education and early detection programs for women
- Surgery for ovarian, cervical and other gynecologic cancer
- Chemotherapy treatment
- Pain management and anti-emetic therapy
- Lymphedema program through the Rehabilitation Center of Thibodaux Regional
- Radiation therapy
- Palliative care (assistance in maintaining quality of life)
- Home Health assistance with IV medications
