Thibodaux Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that it has been
awarded the 2009 Community Value Index Five-Star Award by Cleverley and
Associates. This distinction acknowledges hospitals that provide superior
value through outstanding performance, community involvement and extraordinary
benefit to the community and region they serve.
The Community Value Index is determined through an evaluation of the U.S.
hospital industry, and assesses a hospital’s performance in several
critical areas: quality of care provided, financial strength, investment
in technology and facilities, cost structure and charge structure. Each
area contains specific metrics that compare and rank a hospital’s
performance to an appropriate peer group.
According to Jamie Cleverley, Principal, Cleverley and Associates, “Thibodaux
Regional is a top performing hospital ranking in the top twenty percent
of hospitals nationwide. This means that Thibodaux Regional is a leader
in the hospital industry at providing the highest quality of care and
service, while appropriately reinvesting back into the facility.”
“We have committed ourselves to providing the best possible health
care experience at the lowest possible cost to the patients of our region.”
said Greg Stock, CEO, Thibodaux Regional. “We are proud to have
been recognized by Cleverley and Associates for this prestigious national
award as it validates that we are on the right path to providing a true
benefit to our patients and region.”
