Thibodaux Regional Medical Center Honored With Another National Award in Patient Satisfaction

Thibodaux Regional Health System is proud to announce that Press Ganey Associates has awarded the hospital a Summit Award for both Inpatient and Outpatient services. The Summit Award recognizes top performing hospitals that sustain the highest level of patient satisfaction for three or more consecutive years. The Press Ganey Summit Award is the health care satisfaction industry’s most coveted symbol of achievement. Thibodaux Regional is the only general acute care hospital in Louisiana to receive this prestigious honor.

"Data shows us that reaching the 95th percentile is incredibly hard, but maintaining that performance for three consecutive years truly separates the great facilities in our data base,” said Jeffrey Thompson, Improvement Manager with Press Ganey Associates. “Thibodaux Regional is one of only 13 general acute care hospitals to receive the Summit Award for Inpatient and one of only 16 Outpatient facilities from across the country to win the award. This is quite amazing considering Press Ganey partners with nearly 2100 hospitals on the Inpatient side and close to 1400 for Outpatient services.”

“The dedication by the entire Thibodaux Regional team, from senior leadership to frontline staff, truly exemplifies what patient centered care is about,” continued Thompson.

“We take great pride in the fact that Thibodaux Regional has achieved this notable recognition from Press Ganey. It is a tribute to our Board of Commissioners, Physicians, Administration, and Staff,” said Greg Stock, CEO of Thibodaux Regional Health System. “Receiving this coveted award validates our efforts and confirms our ability to deliver quality health care in a compassionate manner and to continually provide patients with a consistent, positive experience.”
