Thibodaux Regional Health System and the City of Thibodaux partnered to
conduct a drive-thru mass
COVID vaccination at the Harang Auditorium on April 1. Thibodaux Regional
nurses administered the one dose, Johnson & Johnson vaccine to more
than 500 individuals. Individuals were asked to schedule an appointment,
but hospital staff were also prepared to take drive ups and welcomed those
who had not made an appointment.
Partnering with the City of Thibodaux and conducting mass vaccinations
such as this one, further exemplifies Thibodaux Regional’s commitment
to the health and safety of our community, as well as ongoing efforts
to make the vaccine more accessible to everyone.
A second mass vaccination event was held on Thursday, April 8 from 2 pm
– 7 pm at the Harang
Auditorium. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine was made available to residents
18 years of age and older. Individuals are encouraged to schedule an appointment

Thibodaux Regional continues to schedule appointments at the Wellness Center
for those who wish to receive the Pfizer vaccine, which is available for
